Mrs Henderson Presents......Continued

Well, first and foremost, how I wish that Mrs Henderson Presents was going to continue in the beautiful Noel Coward Theatre. However, sadly the show must come to an end, and 18th June is the final performance.

It has been such a glorious celebration of the heyday of The Windmill Theatre - so beautifully written by Terry Johnson with lyrics by Don Black and music by George Fenton and Simon Chamberlain - and thanks to the wonderful Poppy Carter we have a set of pictures with a really clever nod at the original theatre and the wonderful performers who were there - along with Mrs Henderson herself!

Our very own ladies in their costumes, wigs and make-up for the show - so beautiful - and such a wonderful memento. Poppy's blog can be found here - Poppy Carter Portraits - and she explains the reasoning behind the photo-shoot.

Seriously, this cast has been stunning and if you haven't had the chance of seeing the show, rush over the next few days!

Thanks to our Producers - Michael Harrison, John Reid, Norma Heyman and Theatre Royal Bath and maybe the show will have more of a life after it has had its short run in Canada next year - fingers crossed!
