I had some very nice projects through 2018.
A fun concert with Michael Parkinson and the BBC Concert Orchestra back in April, recorded at The London Palladium - it was transmitted in July......
Then in the summer some concerts in Holland with my lovely friends the New London Chorale:
This was followed by Doctor Dolittle - a new version based on Leslie Bricusse's Movie from 1967. It is now on tour for the rest of 2019!
Once Doctor Dolittle was up and running I went off to China for Miss World again - now I've been involved since 2003! - and we had a fabulous time with Vanessa Ponce de Leon (Miss Mexico) our deserving winner!
When Miss World was over I had a little trip to Sydney, Australia.
Back in 1989 I was Musical Director for Aspects of Love when it was first done in London's West End and my friends, Andrew Bevis and Nathan M Wright, have just put on a version of the show at The Hayes Theatre - I was International Music Consultant and helped with some of their research for the show. I was able to watch - it was beautiful - and also I was able to take part in a Q&A with director Andrew Bevis! It was a joyous week - and the cast were stupendous. A lovely way to end 2018!
